Integrated Humanitarian Services
Our comprehensive Integrated Humanitarian Services address the urgent needs of displaced communities. We establish and operate health clinics to provide essential medical care, create safe protection centers for vulnerable populations, and deliver critical emergency relief, ensuring dignity and support in crisis-affected regions.
Reduce HIV/AIDS Infections
We are dedicated to decreasing new HIV/AIDS infections by 30% through a multi-faceted approach. Our strategy includes widespread community testing initiatives, empowering individuals with knowledge about their status. We also conduct impactful educational workshops and targeted awareness campaigns, reaching vulnerable populations with vital information on prevention, safe practices, and the importance of early detection.
Expand Geographic Reach
By 2025, we aim to extend our vital services to over five new localities. Our expansion strategy targets regions with high HIV/AIDS prevalence and severely limited access to healthcare. We focus on building strong community partnerships and ensuring sustainable, culturally sensitive programs that address the unique needs of each new area.
Build Community Capacity
We empower local communities through comprehensive capacity-building workshops and specialized volunteer training programs. Our initiatives foster sustainable development by equipping local leaders with the skills and resources needed to address their unique challenges, ensuring long-term impact and self-reliance within their regions.
Cholera Awareness Campaign
In partnership with the Health Promotion Directorate and Jasmar Organization for Human Security, F&PLWA launched a campaign addressing the serious health risks of improper Eid sacrifice waste disposal during a cholera outbreak.
The Risk
Improper disposal leads to water contamination, bacterial spread, and increased disease-carrying insects raising cholera transmission risk.

Follow official disposal guidelines, use designated collection areas, avoid dumping near water sources, and maintain personal hygiene.

Health

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
We implement sustainable water well drilling, robust sanitation infrastructure, and impactful hygiene promotion programs. These vital initiatives address critical needs for displacement-affected communities, ensuring access to clean water, safe waste management, and essential health practices to prevent disease and improve overall well-being.
Food Security & Livelihoods
We address food insecurity and poverty through a holistic approach. Our programs provide emergency food assistance to families in crisis, coupled with sustainable solutions like agricultural support for farmers. We also empower youth and vulnerable households with small business grants and vocational training, fostering economic independence and long-term resilience within communities.
Education
We prioritize accessible and quality education, especially for children in crisis-affected regions. Our initiatives include the rehabilitation of damaged schools, comprehensive training programs for teachers, and the distribution of essential educational supplies. We also develop and implement alternative education programs, ensuring that out-of-school children receive vital learning opportunities and a pathway to a brighter future.

F&PLWA successfully conducted a Capacity Building and Sustainable Development Workshop for its members, strengthening skills in organizational management, project planning, fundraising, and community engagement.
Global Fund Partnership
F&PLWA is implementing a peer-led youth program in partnership with the Global Fund, collaborating with UNFPA and CAFA to ensure effective health interventions. The program trains peer youth to spread awareness and builds a sustainable volunteer network to reach the most vulnerable populations.
